RESOLUTION NO. 2000-35 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC POWER <br />AUTHORIN AUTHORIZING THE SHARING OF COSTS OF CERTAIN <br />CONSULTING SERVICES AND PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL <br />CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE AUTHORITY'S REVOLVING GENERAL FUND, <br />AND TAKING CERTAIN RELATED ACTION <br />(RESTRUCTURING - DWPIEES) <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Water and Power of the City of Los <br />Angeles (DWP) has retained EES Consulting, Inc. to provide support for <br />development of positions and participation in the FERC docket relating to <br />development of a revised Transmission Access Charge; and <br />WHEREAS, the California Municipal Utilities Association (CMUA) <br />has entered into an agreement with DWP to share in the direction and support of <br />the activities of EES that relate to positions supported jointly (the Agreement); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority and certain individual members of the <br />Authority wish to also share in the direction and support of such activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority is willing and able to bill a share of the <br />expenses and costs of such activities to the Members participating in any such <br />activity, and reimburse CMUA for such share; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 19, 2000, the Authority <br />authorized the Executive Director to execute the Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Authority, in its Resolution <br />No. 1990-15, established a revolving general fund (the General Fund) for the <br />payment of costs and expenses incurred by the Authority from time to time in <br />carrying out its purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Authority, in its Resolution <br />No. 1992-1, provided for the continuation of the General Fund and established a <br />procedure to be followed with respect to additional contributions to the General <br />Fund; and
