RESOLUTION NO. 2000-3 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF <br />SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC POWER AUTHORITY <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE AUTHORlTY'S CO-BOND COUNSEL <br />EXTENDING THE TERM OF SUCH AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of the Southern California Public Power Authority (the <br />"Authority"), at a meeting held on February 7,2000, has determined that it is in the best interest of <br />the Authority to extend the period during which the Authority's co-bond counsel, Curls, Brown & <br />Duran LLP ("Curls Brown"), can provide services to the Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Authority as <br />follows: <br />1. Each of the President, the Vice President and the Executive Director of the Authority <br />is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Curls Brown in the same form as the letter <br />agreement between the Authority and Curls Brown, dated February 23,1996, with only the following <br />changes: (i) the date of the new letter agreement shall be February 17,2000 and (ii) the term of the <br />new agreement shall begin on February 17,2000 and end on June 30,2000. <br />2, This resolution shall became effective immediately. <br />THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the Authority this <br />17" day of February, 2000. <br />Southern California Public <br />Power Authority <br />ATTEST: <br />ASSISTANT SECRETARY <br />Southern California Public <br />Power Authority
